Grand Maket Russia is the world’s second largest miniature, situated in St Petersburg. This museum is the third most visited in St Petersburg.
This 800 sq meters masterpiece gives generalized idea of different regions of Russia, from Vladivostock to St Petersburg. The generalised images of various cities and regions are presented on the layout, the genre scenes reflect almost all kinds of human activity with change of time/weather/seasons on the background. The rail and road traffic adds dynamics to the exposition, and the various scenes with moving objects and figures are controlled by the visitors.
The Grand Maket Rossiya was created by St. Petersburg businessman Sergey Morozov, and is housed in a two-story Stalin-era building.
